Brief Biography:

Sarah is a multi-genre coloratura soprano who sings opera, jazz, musical theatre, pop and more. This past May, she graduated with a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. During her time at Longy, she performed as the title role in “The Little Prince,” as well as the leading role of Samantha Brown in the musical “The Mad Ones.” She also appeared as Ellen in Rorem’s “Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters” as well as covered the role of Noémie in Massenet’s “Cendrillon.” Prior to graduate school, Sarah lived and worked in Japan where she gained proficiency in the Japanese language. While in Japan, Sarah performed as leading roles in two original musicals entirely in the Japanese dialect of Tosaben. Sarah continues to nurture her passion for the Japanese language through music. This past March she programmed and performed a Japanese Art Songs Recital at the Kaji Aso Studio in Boston. This Fall, she will perform the title role in Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Patience” with Ridgewood G&S Opera Company. Currently, she resides in Westchester, NY where she performs a program titled “From Opera to Jazz” at assisted living homes.
